The IUA Vice Chancellor receives the Director of the Kuwait Direct Aid Society in Sudan.
Prof. Kamal Mohamed Obeid, the Vice Chancellor of the University received on Wednesday morning, October 2, 2019 in his office at the University Administration building Mr. Abdul Majeed Jani, the new director of the Office of Direct Aid Society in Sudan accompanied by HE Ambassador Ja`afar Hassan and Mr. Bader Al-Din Head of Public Relations Department where the visit came to get acquainted with the university and its projects and programs.
At the beginning of the meeting, the he Vice Chancellor welcomed the delegation, pointing out the old relationship between the university and the society, discussing the biography of the university through its history, Faculties, different specializations, Da`awa programs and community development programs, referring the university program in linking the practical side by considering its teaching to students.
Lastly the vice chancellor praised the good relationship that brings the university with many other educational institutions of the Direct Aid Society.
On his react, Mr. Abdul Majeed Jani, the Director of the Direct Aid in Sudan, praised the university efforts in spreading education in Africa and its good reputation in educational field.
He pointed out that the visit comes within the framework of the eternal relations between the two institutions, affirming his endeavor to maintain and develop this relationship and crowned by a memorandum of understanding that will bear fruit for future generations of science students from Africa and Islamic countries.
