The Rural Development Center in El-Alafoun continues its food production and moving towards the commercial production.
The Food production and harvesting continue at the Center of Training and Rural Development in El Aylafoun under the supervision of the Faculty of Agricultural Production and Technological Processing.
The center produces a number of vegetables that contribute to meet the needs of the boarding students dining hall. The products of the center are Molokhia, Okra and Watermelon. Both Molokhia and Okra are being dried in preparation for commercial production and feeding the local market in the society.
