Opening ceremony of the Indonesian language courses at the IUA Faculty of Languages.
The first training course of Indonesian language was inaugurated in IUA on Monday, September 2, 2019 in the presence of the Indonesian Ambassador to Khartoum, Dr. Omar Al-Adel, deputy vice chancellor academic and cultural Affairs representative, Prof. Syed Hamid Hariz, Dean of the Faculty of Languages, Prof. Tajuddin Niyam, Head of the Foreign Relations Office as well as university`s lecturers and Indonesian students studying in the university.
At the beginning of the event, Prof. Syed Hamid Hariz, Dean of the Faculty of Languages, affirmed the depth and strong relations between the Sudanese and Indonesian people.
In his speech, Dr. Omar Al-Adel Abdullah, deputy vice chancellor academic and cultural Affairs representative, welcomed the presence of the Indonesian Ambassador to the event, expressed the importance of the Indonesian language to the great role played by Indonesians as the largest Muslim country in terms of population.
Nevertheless, the Indonesian ambassador to Khartoum expressed his happiness for the university`s effort by embarking on the Indonesian language courses in the university, citing the great role of Sudan in various fields of life in Indonesian people and his wish the university all the best in its endeavors.
