Prof. Kamal Mohamed Obeid, the IUA vice chancellor, received Prof. Idly Farih, the vice chancellor of the Ummah University in Kenya and his accompanying delegation on Wednesday 21/8/2019 at the Mahjoub Al-Hussein Hall at the University.

Professor Musa Taha Tay Allah, Deputy vice chancellor academic and Cultural Affairs together with Mr. Tajuddin Nyam is the head of the Foreign Relations and Alumni Affairs Office were among the presence of the meeting.

During the meeting, Prof. Kamal Mohamed Obaid, IUA vice chancellor, welcomed the delegation of the Ummah University of Kenya, noting that this visit comes within the framework of the implementation of the protocol signed between the two sides.

The VC also added that the delegation will meet with the deans of various faculties in the university to discuss the possibility of joint cooperation in various field.

On his react, Prof. Idly Farih thanked the university administration for good reception and generous hospitality, expressing their readiness to activate the agreement between the two sides, especially in the fields of education, administration and media.

Prof. Idly added that his university is in the process of opening new faculties.

 Lastly he revealed that they came to see the university's super ability to bring students from all over the world and manage their diversity.

The delegation also met with Professor Musa Taha Tay-allah, Deputy vice chancellor academic and Cultural Affairs, where the two sides discussed some important issues that would contribute to the strengthening of relations between the two institutions. At the end of the visit, the delegation visits to the Faculty of Information and have an interview therein.

The delegations also toured the Al-alamiya TV studios and Radio Africa, during an interview, Prof. Idly talked about his visit to the university and the objectives he achieving from  it.

The delegation will pay a visit to the Faculty of Agricultural Production and Technological processing and the University's Farm in El Aylafoun on Thursday 22/8 as part of the program prepared for him to visit.
