The IUA deputy vice chancellor academic and Cultural Affairs conclude his visit in Ethiopia by visiting the University of Addis Ababa.
At the end of the visit of the University's delegation in Ethiopia headed by Prof. Musa Taha, Deputy vice chancellor academic and Cultural Affairs, accompanied by Professor Hashim Imam, the dean of the Faculty of Arabic Language, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Khader, the dean of the Faculty of Education and Mr. Qamar Al-Anbiya Issa, Head of Public Relations and Information Office, visited the University of Addis Ababa where the discussion about the development of the Arabic language department in the University of Addis Ababa was held. The Head of the Arabic Language Department of the University of Addis Ababa, Dr. Mohammed Yousef, gave a detailed explanation of the department's performance since it was founded nineteen years ago. Especially in the midst of diplomats, ministers and the general public, and expressed their hope to support the International University of Africa for the care and development of the department.
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the University and the Sudanese School in Addis Ababa
A cooperation agreement was also signed between the university and the Sudanese school in Addis Ababa which is sponsored by the Embassy to develop the school and provide possible assistance. The school is one of the international secondary certificate examination centers.
The IUA delegation meets with AU Commissioner for Social Affairs
In the framework of cultural and academic cooperation between the university and the AU Commission on academic Affairs, the delegation met with Amira Fadil, Commissioner of Social Affairs of the African Union Commission. The meeting discussed possible opportunities for cooperation between the university and the Commission and activating it for the benefit of education in Africa.
