The IUA vice chancellor receives the Ambassador of Republic of Thailand to Cairo.
On Sunday, June 16, 2019, Prof. Kamal Mohamed Obaid, the University's vice chancellor, received the Thailand Republic Ambassador to Cairo in his office with the presence of Mr. Ahmed Bashir Al Nafidi, Consul General of the State of Thailand in Khartoum.
The meeting dealt with many various topics including the reassurance of the status of Thailand students in the university, the VC welcomed the Thai ambassador to Cairo for his visit to the university, assuring that the University's will provide all the necessary efforts and interest of the students in the university reassuring the families of the students to stay humble as all the university`s condition is now moving in stability with total peace and tranquility in the country at large.
The VC also applied to the Thai embassy for the additional number of Thai students in the university new session. The vice chancellor also revealed that the university is ready to cooperate with the Embassy of Thailand in Cairo in all fields.
On his react, the Thai ambassador in Cairo expressed his country's appreciation for the role of the International University of Africa in teaching the children of Thailand, adding that his feeling of reassurance about the conditions of Thai students at the university and expressed the desire of his embassy in Cairo to communicate with the university all the time.
