The University organized its annual Ramadan fasting breakfast for the year 1440 AH.

In the honor of the diplomatic members to Sudan as well as the friendly institutions and organizations, the University organized on Thursday 11/11 / 1440H the annual Ramadan fasting breakfast administrative building of the University administration. This breakfast comes in the framework of strengthening the brotherhood sincere and concrete relationship with institutions and relevant bodies. However, the delegations were received by Prof. Kamal Mohammed Obeid, the university vice chancellor, Prof. Musa Taha Tayallah, Deputy vice chancellor academic and Cultural Affairs, and Dr. Jafar Hassan Badi, Deputy vice chancellor for Financial and Administrative Affairs.

Prof. Kamal Mohammed Obaid, the University's vice chancellor, welcomed the highly distinguished guests which consist of the ambassadors of various country to Sudan and the directors of the various institutions, organizations and other recommended bodies who have formed an elegant presence, noting that the University, has expanded its academic programs, providing a detailed overview of its programs in various faculties of the university and praising the graduates of the university who have spread throughout the world and who carry the university reputation and its mission.

He pointed out that the King Faisal International Prize in the service of Islam, which the university has received this year, is one of the highest prizes awarded to the university where he appreciates to the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia here in Khartoum, as part of this great achievement which the University is honored for this prestigious award. He expressed that the University is currently implementing some important strategic projects and programs such as the establishment of the African Bank and the African Knowledge Department.

On his react, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Thanks the University administration for organizing this annual breakfast describing the university as a long-standing contribution to the spread of Islamic education, and later congratulating the university on receiving the King Faisal International Prize in the service of Islam explaining that this award is given only to those who deserve it and carries many meanings and indications,

Lastly, the ambassador expressed the Embassy`s readiness to support the various programs of the University by the grace of almighty Allah until the performance of the mission entrusted to it was achieved.
