IUA hosts the General Conference of Ibrahim Malik Hospital (a pause with the past and a reading of the present and Orientalism for the future).
On the evening of Friday, March 1, 2019, the University hosted Professor Tayeb Zine El Abidine, the general meeting of the Ibrahim Malik Teaching Hospital under the slogan "pause with the past, reading the present and orienting the future". In the presence of Prof. Kamal Mohamed Obeid, University Vice Chancellor along side Secretary General of the Federal Ministry of Health, Dr. Hassan Al-Bahari, Director-General of Ibrahim Malik Hospital, WHO Representative in Sudan Dr. Nemat Al-Qusair, representatives of international health organizations and a large number of consultants and hospital staff.
Dr. Hassan El-Bahary, Director General of the hospital, thanked the International University of Africa for hosting the visit, appreciating the strong partnership between the hospital and the university and addressing the hospital's developmental plan to meet the quality requirements in health services.
On his part, Prof. Kamal Mohammed Obaid welcomed the university's guests from Ibrahim Malik Hospital and the international health organizations, stressing the University's readiness to provide all the assistance to Ibrahim Malik Hospital and the hospitals where the university students are trained. He also indicated the University's strong desire to develop the relationship with Ibrahim Malik Hospital and specialized organizations. And thanked the World Health Organization, which has been participating through its representative in the Sudan in all the programs of the university, as well as the relation between the university and the Ministry of Health in Khartoum state, which has been providing assistance to the university over the past period. Stressing the university's commitment to providing patients nutrition at Ibrahim Malik Hospital.
The performance reports were then presented to the various units and the future development plans of the hospital.
