The IUA is planning to set up a Chinese study course.
Prof. Musa Taha Tay-Allah, Deputy vice chancellor academic and Cultural Affairs, on Tuesday 12/2/2019 at Prof. Tayeb Zine El Abidine Hall, held a meeting with the committee responsible for reviewing the proposal of establishment the Chinese Studies courses in the University. At the beginning of the meeting, Prof. Musa welcomed the members of the committee and reviewed the decision of the scientific council to establish the courses of Chinese studies in the university, its objectives, means, and the duration of the course as well as the administrative structure of the courses. Explaining the importance of the course in the framework of the smart partnership between the university and the Chinese higher educational institutions.
During his response, Professor Kamal Mohamed Obeid, the university vice chancellor, said that the idea of the implementing the Chinese course in the University is old and explain the ideas that offered to the societies and peoples to deal with China, he said, that he discussed with the Chinese Ambassador to Sudan on several issues, including the establishment of the Chinese studies in the university to contribute to strengthen relations between China and Africa, calling on the various faculties of the university to benefit from The course and the committee members assured the need to establish such scientific courses in the university to contribute to the strengthening of relations between these countries.
