Nigeria's Indimi hailed as Model African Muslim

Former Foreign Minister of Sudan and the Current Chairman, Board of Trustees of the International University of Africa described the Nigerian business mogul, Alhaji Muhammad Indimi, as a model African Muslim Philanthropist that the whole continent should learn from. He described the numerous generous services Alhaji Indimi is doing to the continent and the whole world in general.

The remarks came during the launching ceremony of the newly funded Indimi College of Petroleum and Minerals which was funded solely by Alhaji Muhammadu Indimi. The fully-equiped Faculty is one of the best in the University and in Sudan as a whole. He further stated that the generosity of Alhaji Muhammadu Indimi exceeded the borders of Nigeriato reach Sudan, and even exceed those of Africa.

He described the generous donations he made to Universities in US ans UK and other European countries. 

On his side, the Vice-Chancellor of the International University of Africa, Professor Kamal Obeid, personally thanked Alhaji Muhammadu Indimi for his unending help, love and support he is showering on the International University of Africa. He described him as an exemplary model for the whole African continent to follow. He further elaborated the generosity of Alhaji Indimi that knows no bounds, such that when he and the staffs of the University visited Nigeria, it was Alhaji Indimi that funded their travel and expenses.

Speaking, the Dean of Indimi College of Petroleum and Minerals thanked Alhaji Indimi and prayed that Allah bless him and his family for all the great things he had done to the University and to Sudan in general.

On his part, Alhaji Indimi thanked the whole people who attended the launching of the Faculty and further elaborated on the old and important links and relations between Nigeria and Sudan. He explained that many people will ask why Sudan and not Nigeria, he said Sudan is an extension of Nigeria, and their are many Nigerians in Sudan more than any other country in the world. 

Finally, the Emir of Kano, HRH Muhammadu Sanusi, thanked Alhaji Indimi and told him to keep up the good job. The Vice Chancellor of the University of Maiduguri also spoke at the event. 

Among the dignitaries present at the event were Members of BoT from Saudi Arabia, Emirates , Qatar, and Nigerian dignitaries which were the Governors of Jigawa, Gombe, and Deputy Governor of Kano State, also in attendance was the Chief of Staff of Borno State.

Among those present was HRH Shehu of Borno, HRH Emir of Kano, HRH Emir of Gombe and many others.
